Historic garden near Ullswater in Cumbria set around the home of the Hasell-McCosh family. The garden comprises a sequence of intimate spaces between the house and the River Eamont, and in May features an eye-popping display of blue Himalayan poppies. It's a lovely balance between formality and naturalism, with beautiful plant combinations and constant views out to the landscape that surrounds it.
