The allegorical River Arun emerges from a rocky grotto framed by a scallop shell pediment and muscular caryatids. It flows along a rill pool flanked by turned oak urns spouting water through gilded lions' heads, with golden agaves in their tops. and spills over a scallop edged cascade into a pool below.
