Renowned woodland garden beside the Bristol Channel on the coast of Somerset, Greencombe was the creation of brilliant plantswoman Joan Loraine who died in 2016. On acid soil, spring is the season when the garden is at its best, showcasing a fine collection of woodland plants including erythroniums and trilliums amongst azaleas, rhododendrons and camellias. Paths are edged with moss and all is soft, green and ferny.
